Maggie Dixon Real Estate was founded by Maggie & Graham Lester in 2002 and opened officially on the 7th January 2003 (7 is Maggie's favourite number - so it had to be on the 7th)
Maggie started her Real Estate career in Whangarei in 1980 and several of our team have had 20 years experience in Real Estate, however, it is really pleasing to see new people coming into the industry with their enthusiasm and grasp of modern culture and technology. This eclectic mix of old and new gives Maggie Dixon Real Estate a wealth of experience to draw upon when working together with you to achieve your desired results.
We decided to start our own business because we wanted to be Whangarei focused.
Every city has its own unique culture and people and a large corporate franchise loses the ability to be "local".
Another reason was that as markets change we wanted to be able to change with them much faster than was possible without having control.
We love what we do, the industry, the city, the people and even the challenges that having your own business brings. We wouldn't be the "Think Yellow" team unless we really cared!
